I think it has a nice level of detail-it’s a great high-level overview of Broadway history, and it gave me a lot of ideas for topics to look into in more detail in additional books and documentaries. It’s comprehensive, has lots of interesting stories and background information, and the pictures make it a great coffee table book. This is the first Broadway history book I ever read, and it’s still my favorite after reading many more.
